A Penny For Your Thoughts

An unearthing
A melting, sunset amber
Pink
Your lips
My touch
Words, like reason, lost
In the broad strokes of finality
Startled
A covey takes flight
Taut bursts - and gasps
Silken
You look at me, yet not
Riding the feelings flow
Gaze lost
You gather me in
All of me
Husky in the sultry eve
Your voice falters
Drowning in my demands
Wolves howling
Growling
To each our own
The scent of prey
Somewhere treetops golden
While 'neath the boughs
The shadows deepen
Somewhere
I breath the dark erotic of you
Not jasmine
Sweat mingled with musk
And the taste of your skin
Kissing as if searching for the stars unseen
Night comes, and so do I
- Not yet
Not yet -
You bite me on the lip
Riding the razor's edge
Til edges blur and are lost
In raw throbbing need
Black as night
