The emptiness next to us
Casts shadows In sheets of wind
Obscuring the distance between
The sun and moon
On opposite sides of the sky
So rarely meet in the middle
How sweet it would be
To unite in infinite eclipse
Rising together in a celestial climax
Of red sky in morn

I enjoyed your poem. For me, it speaks so brilliantly of two beings stuck in their own world and not connecting. But oh how nice it would be if they could see their own celestial worth and desires for one another. Great piece. H🌷
