I am a book you can read
First page and last
And everything in between
I am not a new book
Pages battered and marked
Finger prints at the corners
Some read fast
Some read slow
Some never even finished the book at all
On the dusty shelf, shy a bit of a loner
I am a little of everything
Asking to be seen
Fantasy, sci-fi, horror and reality feen
Asking my reader to take and love me a bit
 Before I am put back on a shelf where I’ll sit
For fucking eternity
