I want you to stay a star in my dark
Flickering light in my heart
So many beacons have faded
I need a heavenly body to worship
Your gentle starlight is perfect
To guide my dreams

Remain in these my midnight skies
However distant your orbit
Still let your glow filter through
The dusts of space
