Beside me

You're laying here beside me, your hand in my chest hair,
You would never believe the comfort it brings me just being there.
Your breathing is soft and steady so I know you're sleeping well,
I'm so lucky I eventually found you and that you somehow became my girl.
I can actually count myself as one of a lucky few,
That's found their soul mate and feel a love so true.
I find myself relaxing underneath your touch,
And this is just a quick note to say I love you so very much.
