damage no.1
you bring red into my cheeks
mouths seek heat like missiles
we make damage where we meet
kiss with gritted teeth, complete
mess made where we sleep
we fight, but later at night-
hands clandestine reach
your smile seeming sour
but your hands behaving sweet
midnight past the hour
where lovers make retreat
head to toe devoured-
intertwined beneath
hiding in the happy place
between our silken sheets
mouths seek heat like missiles
we make damage where we meet
kiss with gritted teeth, complete
mess made where we sleep
we fight, but later at night-
hands clandestine reach
your smile seeming sour
but your hands behaving sweet
midnight past the hour
where lovers make retreat
head to toe devoured-
intertwined beneath
hiding in the happy place
between our silken sheets
