First Come First Serve
Who’s going to hell first?
Is it you? Or me?
All the wrongs we’ve plagued against us
And the lack of sympathies
But I did you justice
What have you given me?
Was my love for you really a crime,
A sin painted in bloodied sacrifice?
Or did you treat it as such
To look like the victim?
But I’ll see you, see you in the end
You’ll share the fate you’ve forsaken to me
I’ll see you when the blinding light encloses your soul
And the darkness clothes your body
I’ll see you there
Who’s going to burn first?
Will it be I with you? Or you with me?
Broken words and promises
A perfect kindle to start our fire
You were the Judge and Jury
And now my executioner?
Will you hang me quick
Or let me writhe beneath the flames?
And my charges against you,
Was my love the only crime?
But I’ll see you, see you in the end
You’ll share the fate you’ve forsaken to me
I’ll see you when the blinding light encloses your soul
And the darkness clothes your body
I’ll see you there
Who’s going to die first?
Will I bury you? Or have you already buried me?
A knife you dug straight into my back
But you missed my heart
And laid me to rest in this earthy tomb
Did you know I still had breath in me?
Will I lie and wait forever in this silent solitude
Or will justice prevail?
Will you carry on
And get away with your many crimes?
But I’ll see you, see you in the end
You’ll share the fate you’ve forsaken to me
I’ll see you when the blinding light encloses your soul
And the darkness clothes your body
I’ll see you there. Goodnight…
