At times I don't feel satisfied
And my feelings I try so hard to hide
But I've realized
That I'm just going to despise
Myself if I keep on with these lies....
....Stop holding it all in
It's making him win
Your power
Stop acting
Like a coward
And Stand Up to him
He isn't your father
Girl get some backbone
Because you can do bad all on your own....
....Tell him he's not satisfying
Your every need
Tell him you're tired of ignoring
The fact that he's
NOT in love anymore
Something's changed irrevocably
It's never going to be
Like it was before....
And that's what I've just realized....

As soon as I read all of the first paragraph, Bruce Springsteen's "Brilliant Disguise", which from what I read was about his divorce. Also Luther Vandross' "House Is Not A Home", popped up in my head.
