Dark Side OF Tukwila

How sweet sleeping marigolds sweep
the dark side of Tukwila, hazelnuts,
dusting the dreams of pinecones
and willows
where the river speaks softly
and goes to the wind
through the mist
of the autumn moon kiss
and indigenous voices
among the Spokane Indians
dusting the dreams of pinecones
and willows
