Out of the Void
Nothingness, darkness, emptiness
The Void is tangible in its barrenness
Inside the Void there is nothing, lacking form or substance
Suddenly a spark, a strike, a pinpoint of light, an electrical charge
The Void reacts against this attack, this puncture inside its core
With doubt, misgivings, disbelief and fears trying to enclose the isolate luminosity quickly, but the perforate of brightness doesn’t give way easily, it begins to grow into a thought.
The Void begins to recoil against the small mighty illumination.
Strong now the pinpoint is a beam, striking into the darkness with a radiance of an idea.
The Void tries once again to fight against this attack in its domain, casting worries, reservations and suspicions. Undeterred, the radiance is too strong now. It moves upon the face of this Void earnestly until there is no more darkness only true light leaving you with Inspiration.

Liked the texture of this poem ... A poet once wrote; "Many a poem lies unwritten in the darkness of my soul - until your light reveals all that's been unknown." Thought your poem reflects this very well ... My very best to you ...Bruce
