Hearing nothing but the sound of water,
Bouncing off my bare skin.
I realize what I am.
Who I've been.
The bullshit I've taken,
And the blessings I've been given.
All the smiles I faked
And all the lies I made.
The lies I believed.
The things I deserved
And the things I didn't.
I know I'm not perfect,
So I watch my back for the one who is.
