Twisted Shadows: A Dark Fantasy Tale

In the land of shadows and despair,
Where twisted creatures roam and stare,
And magic reigns supreme,
Lies a dark and twisted dream.

The sky is black, the moon is red,
The stars above are all but dead,
And the trees are gnarled and old,
Their branches reaching out to hold.

The castle stands atop a hill,
Its walls are dark and dank and still,
And in the shadows lurk,
Monsters and demons, all berserk.

The prince is cursed, forever bound,
To roam the land without a sound,
His eyes are black as coal,
And his heart is as cold as the pole.

The princess waits within the tower,
Protected by a magic power,
But the sorceress who guards her,
Is as wicked as a saboteur.

The kingdom is in disarray,
Its people lost, led astray,
By the darkness that surrounds,
And the evil that abounds.

But hope still lingers in the air,
A light that shines beyond compare,
For the hero who will rise,
And vanquish all the darkened lies.

With sword in hand and heart of steel,
The hero will defeat the surreal,
And restore the land to light,
Banishing the darkness into night.
