Hushing Tones
The silent seekers wait for the hushing tones
quiet as the fingers of Pandora's Box
in your gothic beauty as ambulance lights sing
whispering to breathe autumn's cocaine
deep as the emotions that sleep among the dead
in lieu of shadows seeking a flicker of your breath
and no songbirds are singing weeping the trees
now giving over to the corpse
quiet as the fingers of Pandora's Box
in your gothic beauty as ambulance lights sing
whispering to breathe autumn's cocaine
deep as the emotions that sleep among the dead
in lieu of shadows seeking a flicker of your breath
and no songbirds are singing weeping the trees
now giving over to the corpse
