The Sound I Finally Heard

Who
of us
predicts anything
with 100% accuracy?

The meaning
we derive
in any given situation
is like pixels
on a screen,
knowable
and therefore predictable.

Experience
adds
to the sum total
of our knowledge
every day,

mostly giving us
the feeling
of the world
before we learned

of the Doppler Effect,
Hubble's discovery
of cosmic change,

of quantum
psychology,

and the integrated value
of an interdependent
and mutually
consenting
reality.  

We honor
this
by our
not exposing
our neighbors
to our toxicity.

We call
this
"self-discipline."

It's future good manners
to be more trustworthy,
and less toxic

Self-discipline
has evolved
beyond
its simply being
a discipline
of the self.

Its interdependent nature
is obscured
by one position's
controlling
another.

This
is
that unique Angle
of Incidence
that most scares
formal public
Mr.,
Miss,
Mrs.,
and Ms.
to death.

Ms. is
the accepted
abbreviation.

That
is the analogue
for that
broken X chromosome.

"Y" is
the abbreviation
of "X."

"Y" is the sound
of "X" snapping.

It may feel like "X,"
but it looks like "Y."

How?
Why?
What
Where
When???

The sound
I finally heard
was my own voice,
for the first time,
as me,
being me,
and understanding
why and how.

I can't
explain it.

You either
had to be there,
or understand
from some perspective
that allows you
to see the purpose,
the usefulness,
the trust
a unified consciousness
would have to have.

Head that way....

Follow the sound
of your inner,
silenced voice.

"Your words
are the pavers
on the path,"
it often repeats.

Sine waves
of bird calls,

underpinned
by the undulating
hum electrical,  

fishers
on the near horizon,

twigs
falling
on the worn
wooden deck,

repositioning
my feet,

and the waves
on the bottom
of the boat.

Life is
a subtle
momment,

a
tone.

That's
all.
