The Divine Dichotomy: Love and Justice in God's Character
God, the maker of the earth and sky
Who watches over us, both far and nigh
His character debated, discussed, and told
As humans strive to understand and behold
Some say He is kind, loving, and just
Guiding us through life, without any fuss
A shepherd who cares for his flock
Leading us to safety, through every block
Others see Him as wrathful and stern
A God who punishes and makes us learn
The judge who decides who is right or wrong
And the one who will reign forever long
His character, debated throughout time
Leaves some in wonder, others in sublime
But what is certain, is His love for all
A love that's eternal, and never small
For in His eyes, we are all the same
Created in His image, without any shame
And though we may falter, and fall from grace
He is there to guide us, to a better place
So let us not debate, but simply believe
In the God who loves us, and will never leave
For in Him, we find comfort and peace
And a love that will never, ever cease.
Who watches over us, both far and nigh
His character debated, discussed, and told
As humans strive to understand and behold
Some say He is kind, loving, and just
Guiding us through life, without any fuss
A shepherd who cares for his flock
Leading us to safety, through every block
Others see Him as wrathful and stern
A God who punishes and makes us learn
The judge who decides who is right or wrong
And the one who will reign forever long
His character, debated throughout time
Leaves some in wonder, others in sublime
But what is certain, is His love for all
A love that's eternal, and never small
For in His eyes, we are all the same
Created in His image, without any shame
And though we may falter, and fall from grace
He is there to guide us, to a better place
So let us not debate, but simply believe
In the God who loves us, and will never leave
For in Him, we find comfort and peace
And a love that will never, ever cease.
