Chokin' Tokie In Poughkeepsie

Welcome to my twilight dark mandolin,
languoroushing in ecstasy, hearing voices
in Poughkeepsie, as my soul goes mute,
and the metaphors shake the bones
of my proclivities in Poughkeepsie,
squeegeeing my lusting tuning fork,
dripping a ravishing, Mama, done me wrong,
screaming my heartbreak, in Poughkeepsie,
bowling crows for Jesús, chokin' tokie.
