in memories that creep up on me in sleep
of my forget-me-nots and her long-flowing hair
tasting the lemongrass of her breath
and the Nettle leaf sweet tea
turning the pages from dark to prayer
leaving behind the silence of her Capricorn
and her echo reaching out for God's rein
touched with the myth of an angel
loosening a feather on my pillow
