Dancing with death...

Dancing on a thin line,
Life on one side Death on the other.
both men fight for
my soul and the
right to claim me.
death offers dead
wilted black roses.
Whilst life offers the
sweetest most lushes red roses,
they have no smell,
the red roses.
the black smell
sweet and thick.
I start towards
the dead black roses
that smell so sweet.
I know the price i will
pay should i kiss one
and not the other.
I want to live in the
darkness of the shadows
where pain and sorrow exist
no longer.
No longer do I wish for life
when life is so sad and short I want,
to be able to see those of
the dead finally at rest from
the pain and sorrow of the world.
The dance continues as i move gracefully,
upon this line.
Dare i do it?
Will he keep me for all eternity?
I take the chance I lightly step into
deaths cold embrace.
I tilt my head back slightly,
His mouth claims mine for all eternity.
I am now the wife of the lord death.
