Crying A Fuckin' River, Gone Fishing
A soliloquy of the night dripping falsetto
carrying voices, "Mary, Mary quite contrary,"
with fallen angels touched by the henchmen
and I am the weeping clown, Hi-ho, the derry-o
crying me a fuckin' river, gone fishing
from deep in the inkwell, captured by the stiletto,
at shadow's gate as death is your pale witness
with the shape of horrors rolling over into the dark
among the cockle shells in a hedgerow
a soliloquy of the night dripping falsetto
carrying voices, "Mary, Mary quite contrary,"
with fallen angels touched by the henchmen
and I am the weeping clown, Hi-ho, the derry-o
crying me a fuckin' river, gone fishing
from deep in the inkwell, captured by the stiletto,
at shadow's gate as death is your pale witness
with the shape of horrors rolling over into the dark
among the cockle shells in a hedgerow
a soliloquy of the night dripping falsetto
