Wax ( Free Verse )’23

A thousand eyes peering out.
In cherry red to pale pink streaks.
Against an emerald canopy that sways randomley to and fro.
Whilst the aluminum sky screams for the sunrise.

A lime green body, tagged with random markings.
The obnoxious spray paintings are hard to read.
The body moves like a cheap, rundown roller coaster.
Only way more painfully slow, like carrying laundry.

Blinded by the reflective light on silk.
Turning into a leaf bound satelite with no good channels.
For you have way too much time on your hands.
If you sit and wait for the breakout.

At last, the silk explodes the flames attached to the body.
To the aluminum and turquoise expanse with others.
Time to fly to Mexico, and hope we don’t die before we taste the nectar.
Otherwise, many generations will rise from the silk, but first the wax.
