Lies II
The rain it falls
Heavy on her heart
Filling up the sides
No one can see her eyes
No one can compromise
Just what the world's got against her
And as she stands
At the edge of her town
She's looking for her own
Road out of here
Road without mirrors
Showing her just what she's done
The light fades away
She no closer still
To finding her way
Her way out of this place
Her way out to space
Way out to space
So here she stands
A bottle in her hand
She's knows it needs to break
Shatter all around
Shatter to the ground
Showing her just what she's done
The darkness takes its toll
Is eating her from head to toe
No one can see inside
Where she goes to hide
The glass, it falls and breaks
Silver butterflies in its wake
She no longer stands
Wilted to the ground
Never understood
Petrified as wood
No one will ever know
The lies she couldn't show
Heavy on her heart
Filling up the sides
No one can see her eyes
No one can compromise
Just what the world's got against her
And as she stands
At the edge of her town
She's looking for her own
Road out of here
Road without mirrors
Showing her just what she's done
The light fades away
She no closer still
To finding her way
Her way out of this place
Her way out to space
Way out to space
So here she stands
A bottle in her hand
She's knows it needs to break
Shatter all around
Shatter to the ground
Showing her just what she's done
The darkness takes its toll
Is eating her from head to toe
No one can see inside
Where she goes to hide
The glass, it falls and breaks
Silver butterflies in its wake
She no longer stands
Wilted to the ground
Never understood
Petrified as wood
No one will ever know
The lies she couldn't show
