Set Sun
the sun shone today
with brightness superficial
as your smile deigns not light this way
and mine has followed into darkness
all have now succumbed
to the starry night
even midnight diamonds fail
to align their light
into images of hope
Does your star sign
yet shine for me
E’en though has set
