Winged body
Here's what floats
above me
to drip its sweat
on the lips
in the eyes
on top of the prudish triangle.
Winged body
so gliding
over the head...
Moving the air
around me
to give me encouragement!
Winged body
faithful and attentive
that lands on me
weighs on me
and leaves me
no breathing.

A beautiful place to conclude the elemental journey, assuming this is the conclusion. Paulo if you haven't read it, please read Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr. A writer of your exquisite sensibilities will find it a painful wonderful experience, like I did, I'm sure.
