I was perfect 
No list of despair 
My page was blank 
And I wrote your name 

We were together  
Madly in love 
Then you looked to my friend 
You tore part of my heart 

No way I thought 
I'm totally wrong 
Then you told me the truth 
And proved me wrong 

Like crinkling paper 
It's never the same 
No matter how hard you press 
The evidence remains 

Near the end to the story 
You broke my heart 
Abandoned me for another 
Then used what you got 

I trusted you 
With my mind, body, and soul 
In the end what I got 
Was a hearbreaking time 

But I dont regret it 
probably not like you 
now my trust has be broken 
all because of you 

Not only did you hurt me 
you left me with scars 
the only thing I have left 
is to wonder why 

who's going to want what's left 
all the pain I hold inside 
my fears make me question 
every person I coincide 

what there hidden intentions are 
all the bad things they may hide 
maybe they dont care how i feel too 
it made me see just lies 

now its been over a year
