The Fire Inside of Me

Fire can sometimes be enjoyable, we tend to love the heat it radiates, for it makes us war. But me, I hate fire. It's too much hear. Fire burns, stings, leaves scorching marks on everything it gets it's greedy hands on. The flames break bonds, they destroy anything it their path. Fire feeds upon oxygen, so every time I breathe it goes for more, just wanting to continue growing. The flames are growing, it's spreading in an uncontrollable manor. The fire that builds inside me is slowly killing me along with my love for everyone else. It burns, stings, and it's getting too hot to handle. You don't see that though because I'm burning only on the inside. The fire is ripping me apart piece by piece.

Author's Note
I wrote this in 2021. I'm still trying to find enough water to put out my flames. I have people who take away the oxygen it tries to steal from me, but only for a short amount of time. I wish for the day the fire finally dies.
