My Shattered Mind
The world is full of shattered minds,
So I'm not the only one of my kind.
However, I stand alone, my soul and me,
Beneath the mask that others see.
Mind invisable to the untrained eye,
My body count shall reach the sky.
A chamber of torture inside my head,
No person is safe until I'm dead.
Nobody cared to give me a chance,
To see the greener side, to laugh and dance.
They never gave me the time of day,
They didn't care what I had to say.
My patience is beginning to wear thin,
From being rejected, time and again.
Since birth I've known only lies,
My future is filled with tortured cries.
So I'm not the only one of my kind.
However, I stand alone, my soul and me,
Beneath the mask that others see.
Mind invisable to the untrained eye,
My body count shall reach the sky.
A chamber of torture inside my head,
No person is safe until I'm dead.
Nobody cared to give me a chance,
To see the greener side, to laugh and dance.
They never gave me the time of day,
They didn't care what I had to say.
My patience is beginning to wear thin,
From being rejected, time and again.
Since birth I've known only lies,
My future is filled with tortured cries.
