Holding on to the beginnings, we never let love grow and thus, sew the seeds of the endings. Beginnings are the addiction and endings are the withdraw but the high we feel in the center of this human maelstrom is worth the price of our soul.

I dabble every blue moon to listen to country. This poem reminded me of my fist listen to "The Dance" by Garth Brooks. (okay my jazz sensibilities were very happy with a version that had a sax).
