i see those flowers blooming
deep down within the iris of her eye
in a room that's filled with honeysuckle
striving to saunter outside
light illuminates her pulses
feelings radiating up from her roots
i beg to reach for her
and share the delicacy of her fruits
water wells from yesterday's rain
nourishment that makes her thrive
i peer in unbound amazement
waiting to be invited inside
