The point
of loaded brushes
carries ink
into the fray
as surely as
the darkest night
compels
the brightest day.
Let nothing call it
to its task
until its fate
is won,

calligraphy

This was from a talk with Paul Reps. He said to first grind the ink, then load the brush, and then place the brush on the grinding stone and not pick it up again until the only thing left in your heart to do is calligraphy.
