It makes perfect sense when you realize the system is completely broken. Though I'll never understand how a person let alone five can look at themselves after doing such a sick thing.

Agreed. Yet there may be changing: these 5 cops were fired and are now facing second degree murders charges and more. AND the video was released as well. PS: give some guy a gun and a badge and he freaks out. Mister Big.
