Falling River

Insolence mistaken
For inspiriting demise
Ancient desert malnourishment
Hapless in our eyes
Unsuspecting foreign skies
Withering away
Shattered envy; faded fate
Before it, I shall lay
Self-inflicted promises
Our helpless cries are disdain
A falling river summons to the everlasting rain
Nocturnal, shapeless souls
Retrieve my destination
Lies, not speak
No primitive appreciation
To the imitation, mindless one
Seize the vile glow
Of involuntary cryptic tides
Sheltered very low
Beyond the captive shattered one
Pain has stained the air
Of the jaded significance,
Many lies are there
I’ve stated my forgiveness
And the river has drained
In the eyes of desiccation
I have remained
