i may never go out again
I may never go out again
will have my meals pushed thru the letterbox
in dry oblong packages
sealing the letterbox up after i have eaten
for all letters will be return to sender
signed by Elvis Presley
when it is dark i shall go to bed
and when light i shall get up
i will repeat the process
everyday
every year
my beard will grow long
so none will recognise me
the police will raid my house for poetry
but i will be long gone
escaped thru the back door
to a waiting limousine outside
which will take me to the nearest Howard Hughes international airport
where i shall be whisked away
to some obscure country
to start the same process over and over again
