stop,drop,and roll

 i watch your fake smile as you fall to your knees,doing the stop,drop,and roll.
cant you see what i see, in your eyes i see death glistening
breath comes in gasp,as you enjoy the suffering of your soul,
shadows dancing,heart barely beating,you think you are high,
lady H is very cunning,and she makes you  into her fool

for only  a second you get what your after,then it escapes like a fleeing dream in the morning
and still you continue to stop,drop,and roll,like a rat in the maze ,no way to escape
you chase a sun ray that is only a demon in disquise,devouring your self esteem and crushing your desire to be free
i can no longer be your wet rag,to bring you cool comfort as you sweat out the posion lady H has flooded into your being

as we part ways take all i got to give because you need my light more than myself to live
dont worry i will be ok,i have learned to survive on the crumbs you dropped on your way
on your way to the stop,drop and roll,that became my life dance
i lived only to give you that one more chance
like always i fell for your glitter,there had to be more than what i really knew was the truth

so as you stop your heart once again,drop to the floor as your eyes roll into your head
know that this time the fear was replaced by the glint of hope you would be dead
only a second but it was there none the less,i knew you would no longer suffer if you were dead
at the moment my love was replaced by pity,my skin began to crawl as i remembered the last kiss
no love there i was just trying to make you breath,i know now your stop,drop and roll is a disease
goodbye and goodluck in all the darkness you create,i must leave before i began to hate
