O

I would see you like that
Hair garnered in
Save strands
Stray wisps on the wind
Bound
But not too tightly
As if ready to shake loose

What is a rose
A moments beauty
Vagrant heaven
'less you hold the petals near
Then it conjures heaven's savor
Like sweet parting of your lips

But I dream of you and wild flowers
Endless fields
Bathed golden
In sunlights glow
Green grass softly blowing
Sun dress drapes your soft bronzed skin

You of gardens and tender growings
I of mountain meadows growing wild
Yet your heart of hearts sings softly to me
Of oceans too vast to hold

Oh, that oceans could be passaged
And mountains not too high to climb
Meadows teamed with wild roses
And wild flowers graced your garden gate

Seems strange
You have me captured
In a dream that I would hold
Always adoring you in your beauty
Lovingly
Without words
