the fall
the endless fall
the fall of the walls
the fall of everything on the walls
and the walls that fall
create piles of rubble
like any other wall
that will eventually fall
the walls fall down
mostly fall on the shards
of the walls that never fall
in the endless fall.

This poem feels like an evocation of “ruin” as a verb. I love its rich sensation of things falling down.
