Board Up Every Window.
Blonde hair waving slow underwater.
I'm screaming her name, I called her.
Though her blank eyes keep staring,
and I feel like they're comparing
me to a murderer.
I'm pulling for her,
feeling like I forgot her.
While my arms aren't reaching,
because I'm too busy screaming
and being in shock.
No more little smiles and kisses,
I won't feel any more tiny fists.
Her dull eyes just complete it,
I'm torn, I'm defeated.
The princess is gone.
She was so full of life, as I remember.
Now I fall to my knees, I surrender.
The fault is mine, I wasn't watching.
My teardrops on the floor are splotching,
as I drive myself insane.
I'm screaming her name, I called her.
Though her blank eyes keep staring,
and I feel like they're comparing
me to a murderer.
I'm pulling for her,
feeling like I forgot her.
While my arms aren't reaching,
because I'm too busy screaming
and being in shock.
No more little smiles and kisses,
I won't feel any more tiny fists.
Her dull eyes just complete it,
I'm torn, I'm defeated.
The princess is gone.
She was so full of life, as I remember.
Now I fall to my knees, I surrender.
The fault is mine, I wasn't watching.
My teardrops on the floor are splotching,
as I drive myself insane.
