I remember that winter;
all I needed was you,
in the midst of the
snow storm,
kept warm, in a splash
of box whine
over
snow, thinking
of singing:
Let it snow because I know, because I know.
[Thinking about a good friend of mine who passed…
Countless times…
She was there for me…
I was thinking about drinking box wine
and shoveling her driveway…
She cried…
Because no one ever did anything like that for her...]
