Shades of blues
Everything dies and I know why
Without the contrast
There would be no life
What is home to me?
My bubble upon shifting tides
My rose petal on the sea
My home is in the wind
My place in motion, it's spinning
Possibilities swirling within us
A container of hope rusts
Some temporary relief from fear,
As time will, and all the years disappear
I am still here
Faith is the ground beneath me
The earth that is in me
The stars have made me
Home is always changing
Home is unlayering
Letting go is forever
Release is as never ending
As creation is infinity.
The mountain I am
Shifts her sands
The expansion I am
Drinking life through dirty hands
The shade so cold which I am
That touches my skin
And the vast blue sky within
The openness of my body
The blackness I am
The warmth I seek
Is the sun that I am
Without the contrast
There would be no life
What is home to me?
My bubble upon shifting tides
My rose petal on the sea
My home is in the wind
My place in motion, it's spinning
Possibilities swirling within us
A container of hope rusts
Some temporary relief from fear,
As time will, and all the years disappear
I am still here
Faith is the ground beneath me
The earth that is in me
The stars have made me
Home is always changing
Home is unlayering
Letting go is forever
Release is as never ending
As creation is infinity.
The mountain I am
Shifts her sands
The expansion I am
Drinking life through dirty hands
The shade so cold which I am
That touches my skin
And the vast blue sky within
The openness of my body
The blackness I am
The warmth I seek
Is the sun that I am
