The Art Of Rebirth Through Self Destruction

He centered me

One breath of fractured innocence
was all it took
when his heart came pleading
crossing miles
( Passion lay dying in his arms )

A shattered spirit
( I will pick up the pieces of you even when my heart is left bleeding )
with a rear-view tunnel vision
& stained glass memories

Soul ablaze
breathing scarlet fire
on the canopy of my isolated haven
as if he could see the trees whispering when they bowed to him
an amber sunrise peaking through the forest
set in my espresso eyes
Where the flowers are left calling his name
rooted in hope
& blooming for my love
