Orange you glad it's Halloween
"Orange, are you glad it's Halloween?"
Tawny sky was falling down in sheets of clay
Autumn crackling beneath Auburn sunrays
Pomelo radiance kissing monarch wings
Burnt sienna moon good harvest brings
Taste of hickory embers hang the tongue
Recall festivities of when we were young
Anticipation for the cornucopia of sweets
Every Hallow's Eve the tradition repeats
Jack-o-lanterns glowing tangerine by dusk
Appetite of lumberjacks belly aches a must
An array of candies appease the tooth fairy
An amber overcast promises a hint of scary
Children of Halloween coming soon near you
Flaming chestnut bonfires melt drops of dew
Assorted disguises hide rosy cheeks blush
Time for kiddies to close their eyes & shush
The Punk Poet…
Always Be Punk…
Always Be Drunk…
