Shoreline

What serene place to take a rest,
The shoreline, the coastal sea,
Where the birds the flutter, the dolphins swim,
The sea oats dance in the breeze,
Where the mighty waves strike the shore,
With a strong and thunderous sound,
And miniscule grains of crystal sand,
Are layered upon the ground,

What lovely place filled with beauty,
And color of every sort,
Where the palm trees grow to touch the sky,
And seashells make their port,
Where the waters that fill the mighty deep,
Reflect the blue hue of the sky,
And glitter like gold when soaking in,
The glow of the sun's light,

What priceless scenery my eyes take in,
When the sun hides beneath the deep,
She bids farewell to the ocean floor,
Then sinks down into sleep,
The stars awake, the moon arises,
Their pearl white color to show,
Adding beauty to the precious scene,
Of the shoreline down below,
