Stars lost until night
in dawn's faint breath
exhaling memories
from my past
with the falling of the dew
pale light in your eyes
closing on dreams
of twilight cries
leaving footsteps
among the living
weeping tears
on stained wood
as death reveals itself
with the sound of silence
sleeping until life's
last breath
