out of focus
a long awaited sun sits in view
where waves wash away the worries of the world
left behind ruins
beneath scars cut from the elixir of life
where we levitate
where destruction demands of time
trapped in trails of temptation
we breed
temptation
in temporary states of mind
but we don't mind
whether we win, we lose, or we die
unfocused
caught up in the focus
of awkwardness
in another's faultless eye
“What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly.” – Richard Bach
