My childhood friend died
not long after we

I treasure that memory

Author's Note
My daughter wrote this about her friend who died two years ago. She still treasures their time together. The illustration is a pencil drawing I asked an artist to do from a photograph of them out on the night shortly before her death. My daughter is on the left.

It's quite sad but at the same time she remembers her with fond memories of joy and pleasure from their intimacy.
