Green-Eyed and Submerged in Patience.


I sit a ways away from her
Miles in the distance between us.
She plays a game someone bought for her
Based on a crush within them.

Waiting here so patiently
Riddled with bullet holes.
My ship had sunk for the last time
Submerged under the shore.

Eyes of green the monster screams
Though no one can hear it's whining.
For under the shore beneath the moor
Is where it will stay residing.

One, Two, Three
It will eat at me
Till all that is left
Is the open sea.
