Wild Grasses

In the wild grasses
among the beasts
touched by winds
and frogs

listening to songs
of troubadours
crickets bow
and bees hum

scarcely witnessed
by clouds below
beating drums
of distant thunder

when sleepless awake
of mandrakes magic
with roots
resembling humans
