Watchers
Sunday morning storm has passed
rain has ended moving fast
up the valley from the coast -
emerging from the mist, ships ghost
down the inlet to the sea
gliding by quite silently
I'm watching the world slipping by,
I'm watching ocean and the sky -
there's someone left still watching me
watch the watchers by the sea
one becoming so much more
by becoming less before -
Sunday morning beams of light
from our star, they're such a sight
bouncing off the ocean blue
shimmer, sparkle seeming new -
atoms spinning, molecules
ghosts becoming lovers, fools
watching watchers by the sea
watching thoughts and feelings we
emerge, we manifest
for a flash we're at our best
changing alway becoming more
than who we thought we were before -
rain has ended moving fast
up the valley from the coast -
emerging from the mist, ships ghost
down the inlet to the sea
gliding by quite silently
I'm watching the world slipping by,
I'm watching ocean and the sky -
there's someone left still watching me
watch the watchers by the sea
one becoming so much more
by becoming less before -
Sunday morning beams of light
from our star, they're such a sight
bouncing off the ocean blue
shimmer, sparkle seeming new -
atoms spinning, molecules
ghosts becoming lovers, fools
watching watchers by the sea
watching thoughts and feelings we
emerge, we manifest
for a flash we're at our best
changing alway becoming more
than who we thought we were before -
