have I ever told you about those moments when you're stunning
I just look at you
and you capture me
even when you're doing nothing at all
I don't know if its grace or enchantment
that transcends the ordinary
of day to day
or if those are the right words to use at all
there's just an aura to your presence
a mystery
a deepening
all these things I so desperately want to know
a connection for a moment
and then its gone
but it tells me
we have forever

Yes yes yes you told me all of this this morning. But now I’m hungry. What’s for supper?
For real, throughout this poem I enjoyed thinking about what it’s like when you’re so smitten with someone that any flaws they might have are completely diminished by what about them is so good and vulnerable! I think how you’ve expressed that in this poem is really beautiful. H🌷
