Undone
with broken wings
before you got here

I courted your ache
with Angelica Root and Juniper Berries
to feel you 1st nowhere
then somewhere
now
everywhere
within me

wondering- sentient
gracefully a compliment
my reconditioned heart
your new habitat

You
as timely manifestation
steeped in the lining of my next thought
'This new day-Come what may-We will stay together'

Not tethered-seeking release
not hateful seeking dual grief
wearing green eyes or red eyes
will not give us relief
our mantra 'Let's weather beyond forever'
