so much is meant to certain eyes
by a lit window in the night
passed by and maybe wedged between
two walls
it is like a capsule of beauty and life
floating across space
and passing by you’re just
a drifting star unseen
by astronauts and computers

There is universal sorrow attached to a lit window.
